CANCELLATION POLICY
SMOKING
We are a 100% pet free lodge. We host many guests with severe dander + pet allergies and are unable to host you if you are traveling with pets. A fee of $500 will be added to your bill if this policy is violated.
For individual room rentals, we are unable to host children under the age of 10. Our lodge is more intimate than others and out of respect of our other guests staying with us, we can not host babies or young children. Thank you for understanding! Children of any age are welcome for whole lodge rentals.
There is no charge if your reservation is canceled up to 2 days prior to check-in. However, cancellations within 2 days of your reservation require a deposit of the first night's stay plus taxes.
Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside our lodge. This includes smoking near an open window/door. You may smoke outside on our front or back porch so long as you are far away from any of the lodge's windows and doors. You may not use any of our decor or bowls as an outdoor ashtray.
HOT SPRINGS / HOT TUBS
We are a 15 minute drive to the Strawberry Park Hot Springs and a 5 minute drive to the Old Town Hot Springs. We (sadly!) do not have any inside information/connections on how to get a reservation at Strawberry Park Hot Springs. Please call them at (970) 879-0342 for any questions you may have. We do not have a hot tub or sauna on our property.
MARIPOSA
LODGE PROPERTY
There is a private residence located directly behind the Mariposa. Though there is a shared driveway, the home behind the Mariposa is not a part of the Mariposa Lodge. Once parked at the Mariposa, please do not walk up the driveway and into the private home. There are many signs indicating you have arrived at The Mariposa Lodge.
